Would you like to spread the word about Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats? Do you consider yourself a mentor to younger or more novice goat owners? Would you like to improve your leadership skills? If so, consider applying to be an ANDDA Youth Ambassador.
ANDDA Youth Ambassadors are the chief youth promoters of Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats in the United States. Furthermore, they are the public image of the American Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Association. This is a year-long position. Their duties are to promote the value of Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats, goat keeping, and the uses of goat milk.
The youth ambassador position is open to ANDDA Youth members who are between the ages of 12 and 18. Youth may participate in the Ambassador program yearly if selected.
By applying for a Youth Ambassador position you are agreeing to promote Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats, and ANDDA throughout the year as possible. Youth ambassadors can promote Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats at their local shows, 4-H meetings and workshops, state club events, county and state fairs, and anywhere goats can be found. Ambassadors will act as a welcoming committee for all new Youth members and new youth goat owners that they meet. Ambassadors will also submit an article for the ANDDA newsletter.
